Why did I make this template?

I'm used to agency-arranged travels when I travel with my family so we don't get to explore the places we go to on our own time.

This year, we wanted to be more in charge of our time and also the places we visit. As much as we love culture, I think the highlights of our family trips are usually the food and the experience (rather than the tourist bus attractions), so this template is a way for us to build our itinerary customized to what exactly we want.

In the past, we couldn't do this as well because we all had busy schedules and now, some career changes later - we can finally do this on our own. :)
